We have been playing one more than and one less than bingo in class!  The children have to check if they have the number one more than or less than the number given. We had great fun playing.

Primary 1 have now been allocated their school house. They can earn points towards their house throughout the year and winning houses receive termly rewards.  I wonder which house will climb to victory first? House captains for each house are Primary 7 pupils and Vice house captains have recently been elected in primary 6!

Last week I posted pictures of the children making caterpillars.  Here are the finished products, as promised. They look very cute.

Just a wee reminder that our P.E. days  are Wednesday and Friday.  On these days children should come to school already dressed for P.E. with jogging bottoms/leggings and school polo shirt and jumper/cardigan.

Wednesday is outdoor P.E. and Friday is indoor Yoga.

We are very lucky to end our week with a relaxing and fun yoga session on a Friday afternoon.  We loved it and we were very good at the moves.

We were working hard on our reading this week and learning about the characters in our books.

We just want to say welcome back to this girl today!  A good first day back!

This week we have been reading the hungry caterpillar as our story of the week.  We have watched the mini animation too and learned more about symmetry, ordering and the life cycle of a caterpillar.

Today we made our own caterpillars ordering the days of the week and matching what the caterpillar ate on each day.   We are going to finish our caterpillars tomorrow!

P.E. Days

Just a wee reminder that our P.E. Days are Wednesday and Friday.  Outdoor P.E. is on a Wednesday and indoor yoga will be on Fridays. Children can come dressed in jogging bottoms/leggings and trainers, with school polo shirt and jumper/ cardigan on top.

Homework Sheets

Homework sheets sent home must not be returned to school, due to covid restrictions.  It should be completed, photographed and uploaded onto assignments in Teams.  If anyone still needs help with this please let me know via teams or by phoning the school.  There is also a link on the main blog to videos showing you how to ‘hand in’ homework.
