Time
We have been learning to tell the time to the o’ clock on an analogue clock. We have been reading and recording times and we made our own clocks to show given times. We will be learning half past the hour next.
Belated World Book Day Post
As part of World Book Day, we chose a favourite story each and made posters for it, with the title, author and a picture of our favourite part of the story. We talked about and shared why we liked the book and why our favourite part was our favourite.
Homework
Please log into Active Learn and read the reading book I have allocated you for homework this week. Try, if you can, to read a few pages each night. Keep playing Sumdog too – Who will be announced as the Top Dog at assembly on Thursday!
The Tiger Who Came To Tea
Last week our story of the week was The Tiger Who Came To Tea by Judith Kerr. We read the story every day, watched the movie, listened to the song and sequenced then retold the story.
Today we completed some Tiger art. Here are our terrific tigers. 🐅

Today was our first virtual assembly since we have all been back together again, and we were the winners of The Cool Class Cup treat next week. We were very happy and can’t wait to find out what our treat will be!
Potato Planting
This afternoon we planted potatoes 🥔 Spring is on the way!
