P.E.

Can you please ensure your child brings their labelled P.E. kit on a Monday and a Friday. They can leave it in school if that is easier.

Literacy

• This weeks words are  old  or  do  going.     Some children are still revising the first 50 words. Please                  continue to revise all words in the homework folder.            Concentrate on the words your child still finds tricky.

• Complete 1 page of your child’s new homework booklet this week.

• If possible, read your child’s reading book every night. Encourage your child to point to each word as they read it and sound out words they are unsure of.                                  Look at the pictures for clues and talk about the punctuation.

• With your sound cards can you make the words:

  lip	man
  rat	red
  map	tan

• Extra challenge Can you make up a sentence with your words and sound cards? e.g. I can go to the park

Maths

• Complete both sides of the worksheet in your homework folder please.

• Play this game at home to practice your number bonds to 5
