National Digital Academy Survey
The user researchers attached to the National Digital Academy work to evolve the NeLO to expand the subject and course choice for learners have gone live with an online survey for learners aged S3-S6.
Education Scotland is exploring what a National Digital Academy might look like
It’s really important that the voices and needs of young people are considered as part of this work.
We want to hear from young people in S3-S6 about:
- how they choose their subjects
- any occasions where they haven’t been able to take a subject
- the ways they currently access support with their studies
Click this link to view the survey.
The survey will close on Thursday 29 February.
Tonight at Fir Park
Tonight some of our S5 students and staff will be holding a bucket collection at the Motherwell FC vs Ross County match at Fir Park to support the family of one of our S5 students who suffered a serious injury while playing football 2 weeks ago. Please dig deep for a great cause.
Weather
Dear Parent/Carer/Pupil,
Further storms are forecast for tonight and tomorrow morning.
We plan to be open as normal.
If that changes, we will be in touch directly with you in the morning.
If you don’t hear from us, assume that the school is open.

Expressive Arts Showcase on Thursday 15th June
The Expressive Arts faculty would like to cordially invite you to our first Expressive Arts Showcase on Thursday 15th June in the Theatre.
Whilst viewing and bidding on Art and Photography work in a silent auction, you will be served canapes made by pupils from the Home Economics department and enjoy Music items from our wonderful musicians at Taylor High School. The Barista bar will be in full swing alongside a tuck shop to purchase some refreshments. Our raffle hamper is also looking like it will be full of fancy goodies for a lucky winner. If you can’t make it along for the main event in the evening, don’t despair, the silent auction begins at 4 pm.
