School Improvement

The priorities for school improvement this year are as follows:

to raise and monitor attainment in literacy and numeracy
to develop cross curricular and IDL experiences to ensure progressive programmes of study
to enhance outdoor learning
to develop as a community of faith and learning

The priorities for school improvement last session were:

further implementation of the Curriculum for Excellence with a focus on active learning across the curriculum, especially in mathematics, health, PE and science.
implementation of ‘God’s Loving Plan’ which is a health and moral education programme for Catholic schools.
introduction of signs and symbols to make our school a communication friendly establishment.
