How to put money on the card is outlined below:

  • Children put money onto cards using the Reval Machine outside the school office.
  • Once the card has been swiped the Reval Machine displays the child’s name on the screen.
  • Money can then be added to their account. The machine accepts coins in values from 10 pence upwards as well as £5, £10 and £20 pound notes.
  • Once money has been inserted – press the button once, and money is registered.
  • All details will appear on the screen and the transaction is then complete.
  • In addition cash cheques can be used. Simply make the cheque payable to North Lanarkshire Council, enter the amount and sign. Cheques should be handed to the catering manager on site who will ensure the value of the cheque is added to the child’s account.
  • Account balances can be checked at any time by simply swiping the card and the balance will automatically appear on screen. To finalise the transaction simply press the button once.
