We have been working on our drawing skills. We have practised shading to create depth and tone in our drawings.
Non Fiction Writing
Primary 7 have been busy writing non fiction books about volcanoes.
Narrative Writing
Primary 5 have been learning how to use descriptive language to create an interesting character and setting description for our narrative piece of writing, ‘A Castle in the Sky.’
Respect Values Winners
This afternoon the children found out who were the Respect Values Golden Lunch winners. They are invited for a special lunch tomorrow and each person is allowed to bring a friend. The school kitchen are providing the children with a special treat. Well done to all our winners.
Rainbow Raffle
St Michael’s Parent Council would like to thank you all for your generous donations to the rainbow raffle. Raffle tickets will be on sale tomorrow night at Parents Night and they would very much appreciate your support.
Subtraction Strategies
Primary 5 have been learning different types of strategies to help with subtraction. Working together they shared their process of thought.
Making Thinking Visible
After looking for signs of Autumn in our school grounds, we carried out ‘Colour, Symbol, Image’ (CSI) together for a deeper understanding of this beautiful season.
Reading Together
Primary 3/2 have enjoyed taking part in some paired reading activities this week.

How to Apply
- Applications can be completed and handed directly to the first choice setting along with the necessary supporting paperwork
- Parents/carers may wish to email the application form directly to the first-choice setting, supporting paperwork can be sent as a photo attachment for those that don’t have access to a scanning facility.
- Please ensure three choices are provided.

- Paper applications can still be accepted where parents/carers do not have access to IT.

- Please ensure that a copy of the birth certificate is provided for UK Nationals and a Passport/Identity Card for non UK Nationals
