Christmas Lunch – Tuesday 20th Dec
Many thanks to all who responded to our new email lunch selection system. Catering Services have asked that the children who will be having Christmas lunch ensure they have the funds, £1.90, on their cards on Monday to pay for Christmas lunch. P.1-3 children and the children who receive a free school meal need not do this.
Please remember to provide your child with a packed lunch if they opted not to have Christmas lunch.
Last Day Arrangements – Friday 23rd Dec
The children may come to school on the last day of term wearing something Christmassy! Such as a Santa hat, tinsel or reindeer antlers. They do not need to wear school uniform.
Please note that the school will close at 2.30pm on Friday 23rd December.
On behalf of myself and the staff of St. Michael’s, I would like to wish you all a happy and peaceful Christmas and all the very best for the New Year.
Regards
Mrs Karen Greechan

We are looking forward to Elfie’s Magical Adventure and we are already tucking into our sweets.
Our ever popular school choir are on tour this Advent. Last week, they sang at the Coffee House on Thursday and Friday afternoon.
This week, they will be performing some Christmas Carols and songs down at the Coffee House for their Christmas Lunches and they will be singing round at the Co-op. Please look out for them in the local community.
Tomorrow we are going to the Pavilion to see Elfie’s Magical Adventure. the children have to wear their full school uniform. The children should bring their snack and a juice in a plastic bag, keeping their lunch separate, as they will have this on return to school after the pantomime.
No hot meals from the dinner hall will be on offer tomorrow, only sandwiches. All children should bring a packed lunch or order a sandwich meal from the dinner hall.
On Friday, Primary 3/2 were our Assembly hosts and they helped us celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
We also celebrate the success of our Golden Points winners and Successful Writers.
Primary 4 – 7 had the privilege of watching the Infant Dress rehearsal of Hosanna Rock!
Here is a sneak peek of what is in store if you are coming to see the show…

Thank you to all who came out tonight to support our annual Christmas Fayre. It was a great success! Santa was very popular with the children who waited patiently to see him. I hope he remembers to put everyone on his nice list!
Many thanks to our local businesses who donated prizes or had a stall in the hall.
