This week, for Fair Trade week, we invited Carol over from our neighbouring Co-op store to speak to assembly about what Fair Trade is and how we can all help to support it.

STEM Ambassadors
Our STEM committee worked on their Young STEM Leaders booklet today. They learned about interesting STEM jobs and discussed the skills needed for these roles. They then explored the ‘Make Do Kit’ and helped make people for P1’s People Who Help Us topic.
Play on Pedals
The school and nursery were successful in achieving a grant through ‘Play Together on Pedals’ and today we had 20 brand new bikes for our youngest children delivered from St Paul’s Youth Forum. We are delighted and grateful and looking forward to getting out cycling. 🚲⭐️🥰

This lovely P1 girl won a trophy for her wonderful dancing and confidently shared it with the school at assembly. ⭐️

This talented girl took part in a Christmas show at the weekend where she sang and danced. Well done! ❤️👏
Christmas Cheer
Santa popped into visit our P3 and 4 children today and left all of the children in the whole school a selection box.
STEM Nation
Yesterday we welcomed visitors from Education Scotland, Strathclyde University and North Lanarkshire Council as our STEM Committee were awarded with a National STEM Nation Award. Huge thanks go to Mrs McMullen and the STEM Committee for all their hard work and preparation. We are delighted to have achieved this wonderful award.
Beautiful Dancers
These fabulous dancers, who prepared a routine during an after school club, were meant to attend a dance festival but were let down by our transport. We shared their dance at our Senior’s lunch and awarded them all with a medal for their wonderful achievement 🏅
