As as Rights Respecting School, we have been exploring Articles 2, 3, 6 and 12. We are displaying our knowledge of what these rights mean to us in our school hall. As a whole school, we have carried out a variety of activities to deepen our understanding of what these articles are.

Along with the workshop below, our Primary 1 and 2 staff will share information with parents on how Literacy and Numeracy is delivered through Play in Infant Classes and give advice about how best to support this at home. This will also take place on 11th September at 6pm in the school.

Congratulations to our Successful Writers and Successful Pupils in the area of Technology.
Primary 5 delivered a wonderful assembly about their ‘Clyde in the Classroom’ topic. This involved the children looking after their own brown trout in the class before releasing them into a local stream.
Our fabulous danced troop performed at assembly the dance they performed at NLC dance competition.
Congratulations to this super girl for passing her dancing exams.
We are privileged that a former pupil has asked that this Oor Wullie sculpture be given to our school. Someone from the Children’s Hospital Charity came to school to tell us all about it at assembly.
