They carried out an experiment to find out what type of ‘taster’ they were by counting the fungiform papile on their tongues. Most children were ‘Tasters’ as the had between 6 -10 fungiform papile in the section that was counted.

Primary 6 have had a busy day!  This morning, we went to St Maurice’s High School to visit the Technical Department as part of our Transition programme.  We had a great morning and look forward to our further visits over the next three weeks.

This afternoon we complete out model Spitfire aeroplanes.  We have started to plan how we can use them with our Anderson Shelters to create a short film on The Blitz as part of our ICT and Technology.

New ICT Resources

Thank you to our lovely Parent Council for their generous donation from their fundraising to help but some new ICT resources for the school.

Primary 6 thoroughly enjoyed trying out new BeeBot programmable toys this afternoon.  We are also developing our skills in learning to touch type.
