Primary 4 have been learning to use block coding on Scratch Jr to create animations using a variety of features. Today, they created an animation which showed a character dribbling a ball.

These fabulous dancers, who prepared a routine during an after school club, were meant to attend a dance festival but were let down by our transport. We shared their dance at our Senior’s lunch and awarded them all with a medal for their wonderful achievement 🏅

Today as part of our living things science topic, Primary 4 sorted animals into different groups! We had loads of great ideas.
“We sorted our animals in predators and non predators!”
“We sorted our animals into water, land and sky!”
We then went on to learn how we can classify animals into birds, fish, amphibians, reptiles, mammals and insects.

The Rainforest
This week we began our topic on the rainforest.
The children shared what they already knew about the rainforest, what they would like to find out about the rainforest and any questions they had.
Number Lines
Primary 4/3 were given the task to write a number on their board and get into the correct order from smallest to largest without speaking to each other.
