Nursery Nativity
Yesterday our nursery children shared their Nativity Performance with their families and friends. They put on an excellent show and got everyone in the Christmas spirit.
Celebrating Success
Congratulations to this great girl for passing her piano exams.
This lovely girl received recognition for participating in a dancing competition.
This fabulous girl, shared her continuing success for her biking abilities.
Congratulations to all of our certificate winners this week who received recognition for being a Star Writer and for showing our value of Kindness.
These talented children from the infant department shared their successes at the various sports and clubs.
Well done this week to all of our talented children.

A reminder that the closing date for nursery applications for 2026-2027 session is Friday 28th November. Any application received after this date will be treated as a late application. Application forms and guidance can be found on the link below. Nursery returners need not apply.

Halloween Parade
The infants, including the nursery and P. 1 – 3 pupils, will take part in
our Halloween Parade on Friday 31st Oct at 1.30 p.m. within the
school.
Nursery Admissions
Nursery admissions for 2026-27 are now open, please find attached the application form and guidance.
Please note that the closing date for applications is Friday, 28th November 2025.
How to Apply
- Applications can be completed and handed directly to the first choice setting along with the necessary supporting paperwork
- Parents/carers may wish to email the application form directly to the first-choice setting, supporting paperwork can be sent as a photo attachment for those that don’t have access to a scanning facility.
- Please ensure three choices are provided.
- Early learning and childcare applications | North Lanarkshire Council this link will provide access to all info detailed above (updated information available from Monday, 6th October)
- Paper applications can still be accepted where parents/carers do not have access to IT.
- Parents/carers unable to provide their current council tax bill can register with the Council Tax portal and obtain a copy View and manage your council tax account online | North Lanarkshire Council
- Please ensure that a copy of the birth certificate is provided for UK Nationals and a Passport/Identity Card for non UK Nationals

Forest Fun
The Afternoon children showed their creativity by drawing bugs and using leaves to create pictures. Some were curious about what animals lived in holes in the ground which lead to good discussion and thinking.
Sid the Monkey had a super time in the forest with the Morning nursery children.
Easter Egg Hunt
Our Nursery children had great fun hunting for eggs and bugs in the Eco Garden.
Transition
Our recent transition event with our Active Schools co-ordinator was a huge success. Many thanks to all who attended.
