This week began Fairtrade Fortnight. Our Fairtrade Focus Group will be selling Fairtrade bananas all week. They cost 30p and all proceeds will go to SCIAF.
Just a wee reminder of dates that are coming up over the next month:
Primary 4/3 enjoyed a full day of artwork for their Interdisciplinary topic on the Wars of Independence!
All the children had a choice of making a sword, castle or shield! It was a fabulous day where
children could use any paints, colours, and materials they wished.
Primary 6 finished their last session at St Maurice’s High School today as part of the Transition Programme. Over the past three weeks, they have been working hard with Mr McConnell from the Technical Department to make a ‘Maths Game’, filing down their plastic and marking out it correctly.
Mrs McLennan, Miss Robertson and Miss Wilson were not as adventurous or confident in their pancake making skills as the Nursery today so they brought in ‘shop bought’ pancakes for the children.
Our February has been sent out via email. It can be found it out ‘Newsletter‘ section under ‘School Information‘ or by clicking the link below.
