Active Learning
Lots of excellent Literacy and Numeracy work taking place in Primary 1 this week.
Brilliant Buddies
Primary 1 enjoyed a visit from their buddies today.

We have been working hard to improve our fitness this week and develop our Netball skills.
Natural Disasters
We have been working hard on our topic this week. We researched important facts about earthquakes and used this to compile excellent newspaper articles reporting a recent ‘earthquake’. 😃
Active Maths
Using playing cards to work on our timestables recall. Two of us had a card on our forehead, a third person said the answer, and those with the cards had to work out which card was on our head!
Problem Solving
We worked together to solve a problem and see how many solutions we could find.
Art
We have been working on our drawing skills. We have practised shading to create depth and tone in our drawings.
Non Fiction Writing
Primary 7 have been busy writing non fiction books about volcanoes.
Narrative Writing
Primary 5 have been learning how to use descriptive language to create an interesting character and setting description for our narrative piece of writing, ‘A Castle in the Sky.’
