Super Scientists in Primary 6

We have been investigating the properties of water.  We carried out an experiment to find out how long it took hot and cold water to freeze.

We have also been learning about the parts of a flower and today we dissected a flower to look more closely at the male and female parts of the flower to understand the flower’s life cycle.

Events in School this Week

  • The remainder of the Primary 3 children will make the The Sacrament of Reconciliation this evening at 6 pm in your prayers.
  • Primary 3/2 and Primary 2 would like to invite their parents and carers to The Daffodil Tea on Wednesday at 1.30 pm.
  • Please remember the Book Fair will be held in school until Friday. It will remain open during Parents Night.
  • Friday 31st March – early dismissal for Easter Holidays at 2.30.

Mother’s Day Coffee Morning

 

This Friday, 24th March is our Mother’s Day Coffee Morning.  Tickets are priced at £1.00 and include tea, coffee and baking. The coffee morning is open to everyone, especially parents, grandparents, friends and pupils of St Michaels Primary and Nursery. So please bring along your family and friends and help make this annual event a huge success.
