Information for week beginning 19th December

Since we’ve got a very busy week next week I thought I’d put the details up just now. I will remind you again next week, but just to give you all an idea of what’s going on.

It’s Christmas parties galore next week. On your child’s party day they can either bring their party clothes to school and get changed after their lunch or they can go home and get ready. You can collect your child from 12.15pm on their party day, and they should be back at school for 1.20pm. Party dates are as follows.

Monday (19th): Primary 4 and Primary 5
Tuesday (20th): Primary 2 and Primary 3
Wednesday (21st): Primary 1. Today will also be our Nursery party (during usual session times)

On Thursday (22nd) we will have our Christmas Carol Service at 11am in the school hall. This gives us a chance to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. You are all very welcome to come along and join us for this special occasion.

School will close for the Christmas holidays on Friday the 23rd December at 2.30pm. We will reopen on Monday 9th January at 9am.

On Tuesday at 10am, there will be the first performance of the shows.

On Wednesday, the children will have their flu immunisations.

On Thursday at 1.30pm we will have the second performance of the Christmas shows. (Please note the nursery children won’t take part in this performance.)

P4-7 Panto

Panto day for P4-7!!!!! Remember to bring a packed lunch and your snack for the show. Children going to the panto should not bring school bags today, so we can dismiss them easily from the car park when the buses arrive back.

We should be back at school for approximately 4.15pm ( depending on traffic) and children MUST be collected from school at this time.

Information about pantomime

It’s just about panto time (oh yes it is!!!) Our P4-7 pupil will be going this Friday (25th November) and the children in P1-3 will be going on Tuesday (29th November).

On both days children will be having an early lunch. Children can either bring in a packed lunch, or order a Snack to Go from the dinner hall. These will need to be ordered the day before, so P4-7 pupils need to be ordered tomorrow.

Children will not be returning to school until approximately 4.15pm. All pupils MUST be collected from the school, and will not be allowed to walk home alone.
