P4-7 Panto

Panto day for P4-7!!!!! Remember to bring a packed lunch and your snack for the show. Children going to the panto should not bring school bags today, so we can dismiss them easily from the car park when the buses arrive back.

We should be back at school for approximately 4.15pm ( depending on traffic) and children MUST be collected from school at this time.

Information about pantomime

It’s just about panto time (oh yes it is!!!) Our P4-7 pupil will be going this Friday (25th November) and the children in P1-3 will be going on Tuesday (29th November).

On both days children will be having an early lunch. Children can either bring in a packed lunch, or order a Snack to Go from the dinner hall. These will need to be ordered the day before, so P4-7 pupils need to be ordered tomorrow.

Children will not be returning to school until approximately 4.15pm. All pupils MUST be collected from the school, and will not be allowed to walk home alone.

Information about week beginning 14th November.

A few reminders for this week.

Today (Monday) P7 will attend Mass in St Columba’s. This is a Diocesan Mass to remember all those clergy members who have passed away. We will remember our Canon in a special way today.

Wednesday/Thursday: Our photographer will be in to take individual and family photographs.

Friday: Our P5 pupils will present their assembly. All parents/carers/family members welcome.

This will also be the last week for all after school clubs, except Drama.

A busy week ahead, that’s for sure!

We are on Week 1 for dinners.

Panto Trip

Another wee reminder about our panto in November. All of the children in the school will be attending the Motherwell Civic (P4-7 on the 25th November, P1-3 on the 29th November) to see Peter Pan.

The cost of the panto has been subsidised by our Parent Council who are paying for buses, but we are asking for £9 from each child to cover the rest.

If your child has not paid for this trip, could you please do so as soon as possible. Thanks for your continued support.

Hallowe’en

Due to stories and rumours circulating about clowns, some of the children in the school have become quite upset and distressed. We are therefore asking for your support in this matter when considering Hallowe’en costumes for the parade on Friday. We would ask that children do not wear clown costumes to avoid distressing other children.
