Over the next week or so, all class teachers will be organising online virtual chats with their classes. This will be done through Teams. Each teacher will organise a time and post a link to the chat on their Class Team. The children will be able to see and hear their teacher, and can chat to them. This is a great opportunity to touch base with their class. Please contact us on the following email addresses, or via social media if you need login details or support.

Good morning everyone! This is another wee post with some advice for emotional well-being. This is a link to an Emotion Works page you can use at home. We use Emotion works in school to help develop the children’s emotional literacy and their understanding of what happens to their bodies based on their feelings. Hopefully it helps with these times.

Yesterday, the Scottish Government announced free Solihull Approach online access for all parents in Scotland. This is a programme to help parents understand their children better and how to help them cope! All our staff have been trained in this, and it’s an excellent resource to help you to help your child through these difficult times. Follow the link, and use tartan as the access code. There is more info on the ParentClub website.

This Thursday is Ascension Thursday, which is a Holy Day of Obligation. Bishop Toal is saying Mass for all school communities at 11am. It will be broadcast on the Motherwell Diocese Facebook page and on the Motherwell Diocese webpage. This is another chance for us to come together even while we have to be apart. Please join us if you can.
