Santa will visit P1 on Friday 18th December (and not Monday 21st as previously advertised).  Our P1 children receive a special gift from Santa.

Our Virtual Message from Santa will be broadcast to all children before the end of this week (and not on 21st as previously advertised).  Santa has delivered a gift for each child too.

We realise that a number of our families have taken the decision to not send their child(ren) to school after this coming Friday and we did not want the children to miss out!

Week three menu for lunches this week.
Please remember that Thursday of this week is our Christmas lunch. If your child hasn’t returned an order form they will need to bring a packed lunch with them.

Christmas will look a lot different to previous years both at home and in school.  However, we have put some thought into how to make things as fun and ‘Christmassy’ as possible.  Please see the dates and times below for some of the activities we have arranged for the next two weeks in school.

Another wee menu change for tomorrow. Due to supply issues there will be no Steak Pie. The red option will be Hot Dog instead.

The local council elections due to take place on Thursday 19th have now been cancelled. School is therefore OPEN AS NORMAL on Thursday.

We are on the Week 2 menu for lunches this week. There are a couple of changes though!

Tuesday’s red option will be Cowboy Beans
Wednesday’s red option will be Pasta Bolognese.

Please take some time to watch the video link below – it will only take you a few minutes.  It give you a reminder of some things as well as recent changes in guidance.

Please make sure that you pass on this information to all of those who are involved in dropping off and collecting your child/children as we are finding that sometimes people are unaware of our routines and the rules around these.

We are Bothwell and Uddingston Community Action Team, a local voluntary group which was developed prior to the national lockdown, now with charitable status and based in The Viewpark Gardens.

We hope to have over 100 cars and motorbikes which will travel in several convoys around Bothwell, Uddingston, Birkenshaw and Viewpark delivering sweets and fruit to the youngsters within our G71 community and aim to deliver approximately 8000 goody bags.

We have advertised widely but there are many parents not on Social Media therefore we would hope you could perhaps put out a group call to parent/carers?

Four convoys will leave Toolstop at Bothwell Industrial Estate at 11am this Saturday and Sunday to tour around our community and will be within the four estates from 12pm -3pm delivering to our youngsters.

Cars and bikes (and volunteers) will be dressed up to get in the spirit of Halloween.

All Scot.Gov. guidelines will be strictly adhered to and we will advertise and tannoy that children stay in their garden or at their doorstep and we will drop the bag at their gate/door, just as we did safely during the Easter Egg convoy at Easter weekend.
