Car Park&Surrounding Street – Safety Appeal August 2022

Calling all P1 parents and carers.  We have been offered a Sleep Workshop for Parents/Carers of children in Primary 1.  Perhaps your child struggles to settle or finds it difficult with a routine.  It could be that you have some other issue with your child’s sleep.

Why not come along on Wednesday 24th August from 1:30pm – 2:30pm to a P1 Sleep Workshop which is being run by Carolanne Waddle (Community Learning & Development Worker) and Consuella Gallacher (Cluster Support Teacher).  The event takes place in our Wellbeing Hub (next to St. JPII Nursery Class).

All welcome!

We have been informed on an issue between our App Provider and Apple.

• For now, no new people can sign up for our school App on an apple device.  This is disappointing for our new P1 parents and carers.
• Anyone who previously had the App on an Apple device should still be able to access it.
• Android devices can still add the App and still have the same access.
• The company are working with Apple to resolve the issue.
• We have no timeline for when this will happen.
• We will continue to post things on our App and signpost through the text messaging system and Social Media.
• If you do not have the App, please check social media and our website regularly.  Anything we post on the App is also posted on our website.

Back to School Info August 2022

Yesterday we had our last Mass together this term, and it was a chance to celebrate a few things together before the end of the school year. Congratulations to our P7 pupils who received their Pope Francis Faith Awards yesterday at Mass. We are so proud of them and the hard work and dedication they have shown over the past two years. Thanks to Miss Byrne and Miss Williamson too!

Our House Captains had one final job yesterday – to pass the torch to our new P7 pupils by presenting them with their P7 ties. They will have big shoes to fill after the excellent example shown this year, but we’re sure they will rise to the challenge!

On behalf of the whole staff, I’d like to thank you all for your amazing support in what has been another challenging year for us all! Thaks also for the kind wishes, cards and gifts which we have received. They are never expected but always appreciated!

To our Pre-School Nursery children and our Primary 7 pupils who have now left us, please remember you leave with our prayers, love and best wishes! We know you will be amazing as you move on to your new adventures!
