HALLOWEEN REMINDERS

Information about our Halloween Activities has previously been sent out, but here is a wee reminder for you…

TICKETS ARE ON SALE IN SCHOOL NOW AND CAN BE PURCHASED FROM THE OFFICE OR CHILDREN WILL BE CALLED TO BUY THEIR TICKETS THROUGHOUT THE DAY.

Halloween BOO-tique!

Many thanks to those who handed in the wonderful costumes.  Parents/Carers can come and have a look at any point in the school day.  Children can also come along and take a look.  These are FREE and do not need to be returned.  Please do come and take whatever you like!

Halloween Parade – Monday 31st October

We will have a Halloween Parade in school on Monday.  This is for children only.

Children are invited to dress up for the parade and the information for this is as follows:

  • Children can be collected from the MAIN GATE at 12:15pm.  Please do not come to the office earlier!
  • Children should come back to school at 1:20pm.  Please keep your child at home until then as we do not have enough people to supervise both indoors and outdoors, therefore children will need to be in the playground and we wouldn’t want their costumes to be damaged in any way.
  • PLEASE BE MINDFUL – we cannot take responsibility for costume extras/props, etc.  going missing.
  • Please consider others and refrain from sending your child with scary masks and face paint as far as possible.

If your child is NOT going home to change, they can bring a simple costume to school and staff will do their best to assist them in changing.

Happy Feast Day!

Today, we celebrate the feast of our patron, St John Paul II. 💙💛 We are honoured to have this saint as our patron and pray that we too will “open the doors for Christ!”

Maybe today, as a family, you could find time to say our school community prayer together.

We will celebrate together with a Mass in school on Monday 24th at 11am. You are very welcome to join us.

St John Paul II Pray for us!

October Fun Day

Please see the attached details for our Fun Day which is happening this week.  This will enable us to raise some much-needed school funds.  All funds go directly to the children, funding activities and trips.

We realise that things are tough for families, and we are mindful that all children take part regardless of what Parents/Carers can contribute.

We are looking for some donations, so please read over the information.  As always, we know you will be as generous as you possibly can.

Commemorative Book for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

See the source image

We have taken delivery of copies of the Commemorative Book which was published to mark the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.

Rather than sending a copy home with every child, we are offering the children a chance to opt in and have their own copy of the book.

Not every child will want a copy and so we will only give a copy to those who really want one.  This will ensure that there is no waste.  We will also have some in our own library for future use.

Please discuss this with your child and if they want a copy, they can collect it from their Class Teacher before the end of this week.

Many thanks.
