Our boys and girls continue to work hard and are immersed in so many wonderful experiences. Last week, we attended The Pavilion Theatre in Glasgow to enjoy the Pantomime, ‘Jock and The Beanstalk’. It was fabulous. A huge thank you again to Mark and Lucy Millar for their generosity in supporting this event. Our Christmas Concert and Nativity play was a huge success on Tuesday, and the children excelled themselves! Some of our P6 and P7 children enjoyed an evening at The Mint in Coatbridge and received fabulous gifts from Santa. What a brilliant evening. Some photographs are attached.
The week ahead is slightly less busy with parties for Primary 5- 7 and a whole school mass on Wednesday morning for all our wonderful pupils and staff to receive a Christmas blessing.
Remember that school closes at 2.30pm on Thursday. All staff at St Bartholomew’s wish our school community a happy and Holy Christmas. Please enjoy this special time with family and friends.

What a wonderful performance form all the children in St Bart’s. There was singing and dancing, laughter and lots of smiles as the children performed traditional and popular Christmas songs. The younger children performed the nativity with the a sleeping shepherd and the travelling Kings visiting the baby Jesus. Well done everyone!
thank you to all the Staff in St Bart’s for all their hard work and thank you to parents and caters who supported their children by being a great audience as well as helping them learn lines and songs.

Primary 2/3 had lots of fun at the lunchtime club in the playground. They joined in with some fun games organised by Jordann from Active Schools and the Primary 7 Junior Sports Leaders.

The school and nursery all took part in a sponsored obstacle course during the day to raise funds. Thank you to Jordann Cunningham from Active Schools and our team of P7 Junior Sports Leaders for setting up and running the day. Everyone had lots of fun taking part.
Could all sponsor forms and money be returned to the school. Thank you for your support.
