Week beginning 27^th January 2025

I trust that all is well after the storm on Friday – the children are all happy and safe!

Our boys and girls have had another great week at St Bart’s with lots of entries to our ‘Wall of Inspiration’. Some of these successes can be extended with our variety of after school clubs on offer this term and other sporting opportunities throughout. We are so lucky to have as many activities as we do on offer!

Our boys and girls have had yet another fabulous week back, after the Christmas holidays. The children can look forward to a variety of after school clubs and other sporting events. We are so lucky to have as many activities as we do on offer!

A huge thank you to all of our parents and carers for supporting our uniform policy – the children look so smart and ready for work!

We look forward to welcoming our new Primary 1 intake in August! Please remind parents with school age children to register with us as soon as they can. Thank you.

St Bartholomew’s Newsletter – January 2025

Happy New Year to all!

I hope that everyone in our school community has enjoyed a restful and enjoyable Christmas and New year. We all look forward to many exciting and enjoyable experiences in the year ahead.

Our boys and girls have had a fabulous first week back, after the Christmas holidays. I am delighted that they all appeared to have enjoyed a lovely holiday and were suitably spoiled by Santa! The children can look forward to a variety of after school clubs and other sporting events from this week onwards. We are so lucky to have as many activities as we do on offer!

Please remember we have a well stocked uniform bank that is available all year round – please help yourself to any items that you may require.

We look forward to welcoming new families to our school this year as part of enrolment for P1 August 2025. Please remind friends and families to pop in and see us. Thank you in advance.

All of our children took part in reading activities to mark Scottish book week.

They shared their learning with us at assembly. We heard about plots and characters and fact about different animals. Primary 7 also performed a Scottish poem for us.

Our boys and girls have had another fabulous week in St Bart’s. As part of Scottish Book Week, our children have been thoroughly enjoying a variety of titles to work on and enjoy. Representatives from each class  presented at assembly on Friday afternoon. They were all superstars, and we are so proud!

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to our Christmas Fayre, Community food bank project and Baby Layette for The Innocents. Your generosity is very much appreciated.

We will provide a total from The Christmas Fayre after final ticket sales from the raffles on Friday 13^th December and hampers will be distributed. Fingers crossed that you are a winner!

We have a busy few weeks ahead starting with Christmas lunch on Tuesday 3^rd December where children are encouraged to wear Christmas jumpers.
