Again, I was visited by 2 very talented young ladies, who were eager to share their recent success’ in dance. Well done girls!

On Monday, our  area finance assistant will be visiting me this morning in order to discuss next year’s budget. Mrs McLean will be visiting P3 today in order to monitor SEAL maths, a numeracy initiative that has been in place since February. I know tha5bthe boys and girls will be keen to demonstrate their new skills!

On Tuesday, I will be hosting  a  family group meeting in St Bart’s and we all look forward to welcoming a number of Head Teacher’s from the authority. Mrs McLean will be visiting P7, again, to catch up with the progress that our pupils are making with SEAL maths. A member of the NHS Occupational Health team will visit one of our P4 pupil’s. Our Education Psychologist will be visiting our school today in order to conduct a number of review meetings to improve outcomes for our pupils.

On Wednesday, Mrs MacIntyre will be attending a nursery meeting at  Gartlea Community centre, and will keep us up to date with the most recent information for our youngest boys and girls. Mrs McLean will enjoy visiting P4 and Mrs Crielly to catch up with numeracy progress from some of our pupils.

On Thursday, we are all looking forward to the Nursery graduation ceremony for all of our pre school children. I have been lucky enough to hear the practice performance and know that we are all in for a treat! A huge thank you to all of the staff in our fabulous nursery. Mrs McLean will be visiting P5 and P2  to monitor progress in our latest numeracy initiative. Vicky from CLD  will be visiting us this afternoon and some of our parents look forward to her input. Thank you Vicky! P7 leaver’s party take place this evening from 6.30pm until 8.30pm. This will be a wonderful experience for our senior pupils and is a very fitting farewell, prior to their onward education journey to High School. A huge thank you to our Parent Council members, who have been working hard behind the scenes, ensuring that the evening is a great success.

On Friday, we look forward to our weekly assembly, where our ‘Pupil’s of the week’ , ‘Cool Class Cup’ and House winners will be announced.
