I certainly felt some  Christmas spirit this afternoon when I walked into our Get Together Room! Mrs McNaughton, who works in our 2 year old nursery, has been leading a Christmas Crafts club for parents and carers. There are some very talented mums in Townhead now, as Mrs McNaughton inspired some beautiful craft making. I would certainly encourage more parents and carers from our nursery to join in. A big thank you to Mrs McNaughton and also to the ladies who dedicated their time and efforts.

Its Primary 3’s assembly today…I know that the boys and girls have been working hard on rehearsal this week. I managed to have a sneak preview this afternoon, and the children looked very professional on the stage, following a tricky routine. Well done boys and girls, we are all looking forward to seeing you on stage at 2pm and thereafter, in class for a cuppa.

Primary 1 and Primary 1/2 are out and about in Stirling today. They will be visiting Stirling Castle, as part of their topic work. I know that the children will thoroughly enjoy their workshop and having a look around this very interesting castle. A big thank you to our parent helpers, who are supervising the children. Your support is very much appreciated.
