We are so lucky at St Bartholomew’s to have such an active after school programme. I sometimes forget how many different clubs and initiatives are going on.Both the Golf and Running after school clubs were on yesterday, where the children were learning new skills in addition to improving their health and wellbeing at the same time!

Just a reminder that the Art after school club will NOT be on today as the team who organise the polling station will need access to the school after 3pm and there are stringent rules surrounding confidentiality.

Talking of after school clubs…a Gardening after school club will be coming to St Bartholomew’s next Wednesday.A few members of our staff will be getting involved and letters will be with you shortly. It might be worth chatting to your child about this to establish where their level of interest lies?

As I was going around the classes yesterday, I noticed another trophy on a Primary five pupils’ desk- it was the same one that two of our pupils had with them in the morning.I promised that I’d take a photograph of the trophy and it’s very pleases recipient.Again, it has been awarded from the Boys Brigade for ‘Best Team. Well done!
