I’ll be spending most of today in Primary 1 and am very much looking forward to joining in with the children’s learning.

As part of their preparations for their First Holy Communion in a few weeks time, Primary 4 are running a community cafe today. The boys and girls have been learning that faith can’t simply be about words, but also needs to involve action: living out our Catholic faith in a way which makes a real difference and has a positive impact on others. Primary 4 have invited a variety of groups from the Townhead community to pop along to the school over the coming weeks, with today’s special guests including the Jubilee Group, the St Vincent de Paul Society, the Pray for our School Group, the parish’s readers and Eucharistic Ministers and, of course, Father Doherty. A very warm welcome to St Bartholomew’s! Get ready to be treated like royalty!
