Please remember to pray for our First Communicants who will be celebrating this very important sacrament on Sunday the 15th of May. I know that they will appreciate this kind gesture. Primary four will be organising a ‘Community Cafe’ in aid of their up and coming celebrations and also to raise funds for SCIAF. The St Vincent De Paul group, Eucharistic ministers, Liturgical readers and the ‘Pray for our School ‘ group are all invited to the Community Cafe at 1.30pm. I know that both the children and the various community groups are all really looking forward to it! I might try to pop in for a wee scone…

We have registered our first of many points to come for Beat the Street!! Mrs MacIntyre walked the children to the after school golf club at Lochview Golf Club and managed to pass two ‘ Beat Boxes’ on the way. Could I ask everyone to remember to take their fob with them when out and about and pick up as many points as you can for the school.

     

Our After school golf club were at the driving range learning how far they could drive the golf balls. They had great success and enjoyed every minute of it. There are another four weeks to go and I’m sure they will be giving Rory McIlroy a run for his money very shortly!
