Our very talented young ladies in the photographs above, have been rewarded for their successes in dancing…again! All of your friends in St Bartholomew’s congratulate you. Well done girls.

Last week saw some very special visitor in our school- our new Primary 1 parents and some of the boys and girls. We are delighted to welcome them to the wonderful St Bart’s family and look forward to seeing you on Tuesday for a parent and child workshop.

Huge congratulations to our First Communicants , our second cohort of boys and girls received the  very special gift of the Eucharist yesterday. Well done boys and girls- you were a credit to yourselves, families and the Parish community!

On Monday, we welcome Elaine Johnstone,  acting Continuous Improvement Officer with North Lanarkshire Council. We all look forward to showing her around the school and discussing our progress.

On Tuesday, I will be visiting St Edward’s Primary School to attend a family group meeting with other Head Teachers from the authority with similar demographics.We also welcome Michelle Milward who  is scheduled to meet Mrs Wilson. Mrs MacIntyre will be out of school and will be attending an admissions meeting for our  2 year old nursery. Our Primary 6 and Primary P4/5 pupils will enjoy another Cricket session today. Another wonderful sporting skill to add to the collection boys and girls!

On Wednesday, our youngest boys and girls from the nursery will be out and about today on their annual summer trip. Have fun everyone! Mr Fowler and Primary 2 are also out of school today and will enjoy the many attractions and activities within Kelvingrove art gallery. We look forward to sharing in your adventures when you return.  Primary 5 pupils will enjoy another session at the Time Capsule, where they will take part in swimming/ dry sports.

On Thursday, Vicky from Community Learning and Development will be working with some of our parents in our Get Together room. Kimberly Ross will visit St Bart’s at 3pm today in order to deliver Low Intensity Anxiety Management (LIAM )training  as a coaching session with some of our staff.

Please remember that school is closed for the long weekend on Friday and Monday.  Enjoy the break everyone and we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday the 28th May.
