As you can see from the photographs above, our Primary 7 pupils made pizza at their cookery lesson yesterday. The boys and girls were delighted with themselves , after taking a few simple ingredients like flour, water, oil, tomatoes ,cheese , adding a few toppings of their choice and then creating such delicious food. Well done boys and girls. I am not so sure if many of their efforts reached home as I think that they were all eaten before 3pm. Sorry mums and dads…

The children have all loved taking part in food handling/ preparation and increasing their knowledge in nutrition . These skills will stand them in good stead for the future and in fact, it has been reported that some of the children have applied some of this learning to helping out at home. Fantastic news.

Please keep up to date with twitter and class pages as you can see some examples of wonderful work and experiences that the children have been having. You will see from some of these pictures that the boys and girls’ teachers took advantage of the weather, and created outdoor learning opportunities.Looks like a lot of fun to me!
