There was a lovely atmosphere in the Get Together Room yesterday for Primary 4’s community cafe, ‘Cafe Combo’. The boys and girls spent the morning preparing sandwiches, empire biscuits and strawberry tarts and then gave a warm St Bartholomew’s welcome to their guests in the afternoon. Believe it or not, one of the guests was actually from New Jersey in the United States of America! The children were the perfect hosts and, as you can see from one of the photographs below, even approached washing the dishes with enthusiasm and humour! Well done to you all and many thanks to Mrs McLean, Mrs Ruddy, Mrs Morris and Mrs Early for helping the children with the special event.
