St Bartholomews

Primary 1/2 are off to the Burrell Collection in Glasgow today. The museum closes this coming autumn for a four-year refurbishment, so this will be a particularly worthwhile visit for the children. It’s forecast to be another glorious day: perfect for lunch and a run about in Pollock Park!

I’ll be spending much of today in Primary 5/6 and am very much looking forward to sharing in the children’s learning. The class had an exciting trip to the Scottish Parliament on Monday, so today will also give me the chance to hear about the visit and find out what the boys and girls learned on the day.

Finally, I can now confirm that St Bartholomew’s will be used as a polling station for the European Union referendum on Thursday 23rd June and that the school will be closed to pupils on this day.
