Scottish School Meals Week will take place from Tuesday 31st October to Friday 3rd November 2017 and will feature four themed menus:

  •  Tuesday 31st October 2017:  Hallowe’en Theme
  • Wednesday 1st November 2017: Meat Free
  • Thursday 2nd November 2017:  Hot Dog Day
  • Friday 3rd November 2017: Favourite Friday (most popular dishes).

Snack2Go will be available as normal on these days.

Monday 30th October 2017

  • Mrs Scott will teach P1 this afternoon.

Tuesday 31st October 2017

  • Mrs. White will teach P5/6 all day as Mr. Watson will be at a course.

Wednesday 1st November 2017

  • 9.30am-10.15am:  Celebrating Success Assembly
  • 9.45am-12pm:  P5-7 Football Team will attend the Shotts Cluster Friendly Football tournament at Calderhead.
  • 1.30pm-2.30pm:  P5/6 and P7 RME lesson with Jonathan.
  • 2pm-3pm:  Mr. Cowan (Bagpipe Tutor) in school.
  • 6pm-8pm:  Parent Council Meeting in Shotts EU Congregational Church.  All members of the parent forum welcome to attend.

Thursday 2nd November 2017

  • Mr. Watson will teach P5/6 all day today.
  • 9am-10am: Miss Smith, Brass Tutor, in school
  • 1.30pm:  Community Firefighters delivering Firework Safety talk to P1-7.

Friday 3rd November 2017

  • 9.30am-10.15am:  P5/6 Cyber Safety lesson with Siobhan Devine (CLD Worker)
  • 10.45am-11.30am:  Singing Assembly
  • 11.30am-12.15pm:  P4/5 Cyber Safety lesson with Siobhan Devine (CLD Worker)
  • 1.15pm-2pm:  P7 Cyber Safety lesson with Siobhan Devine (CLD Worker)
  • 2pm-2.15pm:  Extra Playtime for pupils achieving Gold and Silver.
  • 2.15pm-2.45pm:  Golden Time.
