Validated Self-Evaluation

As part of the ongoing support from North Lanarkshire Council, the school and nursery will take part in a Validated Self-Evaluation (VSE) visit on Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th October 2017.

A VSE is an internal review of the school’s current progress in learning and teaching and will help us to identify our strengths and any potential areas for development.

The VSE team will comprise of our Continuous Improvement Officer, Jackie Ballantyne and three Head Teachers from NLC. During the two days, they will visit classes to observe lessons, look at the work of the pupils, engage in professional dialogue with the staff and meet with representative groups of parents and pupils.

Feedback from the VSE will be shared with staff towards the end of the week and this will be used to inform our school improvement work going forward.
