School Captain – Job Specification

• Set and excellent example to all students in terms of uniform, work ethic and contribution to school life.
• Lead assemblies
• Liaise with staff to organise / run whole school events
• Attend and contribute to Pupil Council meetings
• Attend and contribute to Parent Council meetings
• Support S1 pupils
• Inspire and motivate other students
• Meet and greet parents and visitors
• Represent the school at various events throughout the year
• Contribute and support the liturgical life of the school
• Supervise at break and lunch based on a rota
• Meet with HT and DHT throughout the year
• Lead S6 committee
• Attendance at Parents’ Evenings / Information Evenings if required
• Represent pupils on whole school committees
