Roles and Responsibilities
School Captain
- Set an excellent example to all students in terms of uniform, work ethic and contribution to school life.
- Lead assemblies
- Liaise with staff to organise/run whole school events
- Attend and contribute to Pupil Council meetings
- Attend and contribute to Parent Council meetings
- Support S1 pupils
- Inspire and motivate other students
- Meet and greet parents and visitors
- Represent the school at various events throughout the year
- Contribute to and support the liturgical life of the school
- Supervise at break and lunch based on a rota
- Meet with HT and DHT throughout the year
- Lead S6 committee
- Attendance at Parents’ Evenings / Information Evenings if required
- Represent pupils on whole school committees
House Captain

- Lead House assemblies
- Organise and chair Pupil Council meetings, including setting the agenda and organising minutes
- Support S1 pupils

- Contribute to and support the liturgical life of the school
- Lead S6 committee
- Update the House notice board
- Monitor prefect duties, including organising the interval and lunchtime rota
- Attendance at Parents’ Evenings / Information Evenings if required
