Monday 5th March

The Condorrat entrance (back gate) remains closed, Athelstane and Scott Drive footpaths are open and clear. The Athelstane drop off point is closed to cars and the road gates are closed.

The access road to school is clear and the main carpark has been cleared of snow.

The playground is still full of snow and we would encourage pupils to stay indoors today.

We expect school transport to run as normal.

Cupid Strikes at GHS

The roses, messages and chocolates awaiting delivery.

This Valentine’s Day came early for the staff and pupils of Greenfaulds High school. Four of the school’s Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award group organised the sale of roses, messages and chocolates that were delivered during period 1 on Friday 9th February to the unsuspecting recipients around the school! The team of S4 pupils (Jack Guild, Tara McGinley, Erika Anderson and Teigan Burns) managed to raise £120 for their efforts that they then chose to donate to Redburn School.

Martin Burns, Depute Head Teacher at Redburn said “We are delighted to receive this latest donation from the pupils of Greenfaulds High School. The recent fundraising efforts of the school have been remarkable and the money will be put to good use to help develop our outdoor learning environment. The development of our recent partnership is providing great benefits to pupils of both schools and we look forward to working together more closely over the coming weeks and months.”
