S3 pupils will receive a paper copy of their options choices with their current subjects pre-populated, from this pupils will indicate one subject they would like to drop. The form above shows you how this form will look.
To parents/carers:
You will have received an email from the school with a link to this section of the website. Here you will find a presentation which will guide you and your child to make the best options choices for them to be successful in S4 and beyond.
It is important that when your child completes their option choices that you sign and return their form to school so that we can attempt to meet their curricular needs.
Information to current S3 learners:
Please use your S3 reports, parents evening meetings and any discussion with your Pupil Support teacher (Mrs McConville for pupils in the LCSC). during your PSE period (and/or any other time if required) to help you complete your choices.
Please note that we will do everything possible to ensure that pupil choice is met.
However, classes can only run where numbers choosing the subject (and level) are sufficient to justify this and where we have sufficient staff.

The anticipated timeline for options choices is below:
- Monday 23 February– receive options form in PSE from Pupil Support Teacher. Paper copy to pupils and copy on school website along with guide to choosing subjects.
- Monday 2 March– pupils will use time in PSE to discuss options with Pupil Support Teacher (Mrs McConville for pupils in the LCSC).
- Friday 6 March– initial submission of options forms due to Mr Connelly.
