When the time comes for you to leave Brannock and transition into the world of further education or employment, there are many different agencies that the school work with to support you at this time. Routes for All
Routes for All is a programme to support S5 and S6 pupils who are thinking about applying for further and higher education courses.
Routes for All is an element of FOCUS West, part of the Schools for Higher Education Programme. Routes for All aim to help pupils in their post-school choices and help them try to prepare for their post school transition to college or university being a bit easier and less daunting.

UCAS
UCAS support young people making post-16 choices, as well as those applying for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. When you are applying for university, you will complete your application through the UCAS site
Through the school UCAS Class you will be offered support in researching university places, writing personal statements and the admission process.

Top-Up
Top-Up is a pre-entry programme that takes place in select West of Scotland secondary schools – including Brannock to support young people applying for higher education.
Top-Up is part of the FOCUS West programme.
S5 and S6 pupils take part in 3 block or 5 double sessions in school, helping them to develop essential study skills. They also facilitate a campus visit where pupils take part in a lecture, seminar and workshop. Participants also complete a written assignment from a choice of five academic subjects.

Reach
Reach works with S4-S6 pupils with an interest in and ability to study a degree in Dentistry, Law, Medicine or Veterinary Medicine and Surgery.
Reach will ensure that you are well prepared for the transition to University. Participants gain an understanding of career pathways, experiences of university learning and teaching, support with every aspect of the application process and advice from staff and students on becoming a dentist, law professional, doctor or vet. As well as providing a valuable and engaging experience, completing the assessed elements of the Reach programme means that you can benefit from adjusted entry requirements with the Schools of Dentistry, Law, Medicine and Veterinary Medicine at Glasgow.
