  1. My daughter has advised me that someone from North Lanarkshire School Pipe Band is coming to Balmalloch Primary to promote and teach kids to play the bagpipes. My understanding is that children get the opportunity to learn this at primary with the possibility that if they may have a talent then they might get the opportunity to get picked up at High School to play with their band. I was wondering if North Lanarkshire also promote and teach their Drum Section at Primary School as my daughter (Amy Clelland) is a Tenor Drummer and currently plays and practices with Kilsyth Thistle Pipe Band. Could you please advise. Many thanks, Helen Thomson.

  2. Hello Helen, Ross Cowan is promoting the pipes to then start teaching lessons here. He usually teaches lessons in Balmalloch every second year. Unfortunatly, no there wont be any drum tuition. Thank you.
