Just to remind everyone that this week is infant registration. Children who will be 5 years between 1 March 2017 and 28 February 2018 should be registered for school this week. Registration times left this week are: Wednesday 3-4pm Bring your child’s birth certificate and proof of address (Council tax bill/copy of missives or let agreement and a utility bill). Congratulations to Holly Stevenson in Primary 3 for receiving a special commendation certificate. Holly was recognised for her wonderful entry in the North Lanarkshire road safety calendar competition. Holly was presented with her certificate and prize at our assembly today. Well done Holly!
Well done to our Christmas card competition winners. Each winner was presented with 6 cards of their design to take home and give to family and friends. The overall winning card was chosen to send to local councillors, schools and friends in the community. Well done boys and girls! After weeks of rehearsals, this week is SHOW week! The boys and girls have worked incredibly hard to learn their lines and put on a great show. The costumes are on, the face painting has been done and cast two are ready to perform this morning. We hope you all enjoy the show. Here are some photos of cast one from earlier in the week. Last Friday, it was the turn of P1, P4 and P6 to present what they have been learning in class. What a wonderful afternoon it was. A special well done must go to the boys and girls in P1 for their big loud voices during their very first newstime. Thank you to Euan in Primary 7 for taking the photos! Well done boys and girls!
This week it was P2, P3, P5 and P7’s newstimes. A great opportunity for the boys and girls to share their learning in class with their parents and the rest of the school. Well done everyone!
