HMIE Inspection

https://education.gov.scot/reports/north-lanarkshire/8519323 In February 2017, a team of inspectors from Education Scotland visited Aitkenhead Primary School. The inspectors gathered evidence to evaluate the quality of leadership and management, learning provision and children’s successes and achievements. The inspection process identified strengths and areas for improvement. The letter for parents/guardians has now been published along with additional inspection evidence from pupils, parents/guardians, staff questionnaires. Easter Arrangements

Friday 31st March 2017 Easter Service 10am at Viewpark Parish Church (weather permitting). All welcome to attend. School closes for our Easter break at 2.30pm and will reopen on Tuesday 18th of April.

Rookie Rockstars Photos

Wow! Rookie Rockstars certainly made an impression on everyone at Aitkenhead. We had a brilliant two nights rocking it out, dressing up and putting on amazing performances. We demonstrated that we are all confident individuals, even down to our audience members that ‘volunteered’ their talents. Tonight is the Night – Rookie Rockstars!

Tonight will see the first of our two nights of Rookie Rockstars performances. We are all so excited and looking forward to a great night.
