We have been very busy recently with the P7 and P5/6 assemblies, our very successful Open Day and our H Factor Awards.

P7 impressed everyone with their assembly all about numbers.  Everyone spoke clearly, delivered confidently and really had the audience mesmerised with all the amazing facts, figures and number puzzles.  Then it was the turn of P5/6 to deliver a very moving and poignant assembly about Remembrance Day. The children were very dignified throughout and sang beautifully. As always, I felt immensely proud of our children and teachers who work so hard to prepare the assemblies.

Last week our little school was bursting at the seems with parents and friends who had come in to see the children at work during the open day.  It was so pleasing to hear and see all the very positive comments from parents.  I certainly know the P1 parents were very impressed with the children’s knowledge of number -Adam was able to tell everyone that he knew a number with 3 zeros – 1000!

Our Choir and Speech and Drama students also had the opportunity to perform for the visitors.  Everyone enjoyed hearing and seeing the children sing and act so well.

On Saturday our Parents are hosting our annual Christmas Fair. There will be plenty of stalls with crafts, toys, books, cake and candy and lots of opportunities to win some great prizes.  Thanks to everyone who has donated so far, further donations are most welcome. Please come along on Saturday to support us. We also have a very special visitor coming!

P7 are having a great time in Kilbowie, I have enjoyed seeing and sharing their photos.
