It really helps us out if you can help the children practise at home. Hopefully you will be familiar with the music and you will enjoy practising with them!!

Tickets are now on sale at the school office. Please remember that it is 2 tickets PER FAMILY this year. The show dates are:

Tuesday 6th December – afternoon

Tuesday 6th December – evening

Wednesday 7th December – evening

Two tickets per family have been allocated. Please choose your performance and send back your form, indicating your chosen date. Any spare tickets will be put into a hat for any families who request any more.

A letter will be coming out to classes tomorrow (Wednesday 24th November) to explain about costumes.

Happy Practising!!

CHILDREN IN NEED 2016

Today, the boys and girls at Keir Hardie came to school in their spots! Everyone participated fully in the event in order to raise money for such an important charity. The effort from our families has been immense with a whole host of homemade spotty pudsey t-shirts, along with official pudsey merchandise and countless spots! We would like to thank you for supporting us to raise money for Children in Need and hope you enjoy looking at some of our dotty children!

CHILDREN IN NEED – FRIDAY 18th NOVEMBER 2016

Once again we are supporting Children in Need and this year the school and nursery are having a ‘wear spots’ theme. Please don’t go to any expense but if your child has any item of clothing with a spot pattern on it they are encouraged to wear it to nursery this Friday.
The teachers have planned some fun spotty activities for all the children to take part in throughout the day.
We will also be collecting £1 donations for this fantastic charity.

Autumn Leaves

The Econschool ground committee have been very busy gathering all of the autumn leaves from the playground. The leaves can become slippy and we want to make the playground safe four our pupils. We recycled the leaves into the brown bin for garden waste.

Some of our committee did a litter pick around the perimeter. We were pleased to find that there was not much to gather and that most of it had come in from outside the school. This showed that the keir Hardie boys and girls are trying hard to put all of their litter in the bin!

After School Clubs – Term 2

Children will receive a letter today regarding after school clubs starting next week.  These letters should be returned to school as soon as possible to guarantee a place within the preferred club.  Extra curricular activities are very popular in Keir Hardie and therefore places are given on a first come first served basis.  Once the club is full, children will be added to a waiting list.  Parents will be informed if your child has a place within an after school club.
