Primary 1 and Primary 2/3 loved their taster session of Taekwondo on Thursday. Here are some cool pictures of us practicing our kicks and punches!
Blair Drummond
Primary 2/3 had a ball at Blair Drummond Safari Park on Monday! We crammed so much into our day and we were lucky to have nice dry weather. We saw lots of animals on the bus safari, visited Chimp Island, went to the park and even saw a real live sea lion show. Phew, what a busy day!
Clubbercise Fun!
Primary 1 and Primary 2/3 had so much fun at Clubbercise this morning! We had cool neon clothes on and our faces painted to make sure we looked the part! We loved dancing with the glow sticks and showing off some cool moves. Can we do this every Friday?!
Primary 1 and 2/3 learn CPR!
As part of Health Week we were lucky to have two nurses come to Keir Hardie to teach us how to do CPR in an emergency situation. We were able to practice giving CPR to a teddy and are working really hard to remember the 6 steps we have to take. We can’t wait to show our friends and family what we have learned. Here are some great pictures of us in action!

Speed check
Today the JRSO Pupil Voice Group used speed guns provided from North Lanarkshire Council to record the speed of passing vehicles. We are pleased to announce that almost all of the speeds recorded were under 30mph!
Privilege Time Fun in P1 and P2/3
Primary 1 and Primary 2/3 tried some new things for Privilege Time last week. Some of us chose to make fruit faces with Miss Anderson, some were getting their hands messy by making Play-Doh with Miss Kelly and some were icing and decorating their own biscuits with Mrs Boyd! We can’t wait for this Friday’s fun!

Privilege Time Week 2
Primary 1 and Primary 2/3 loved joining together again for Privilege Time last week. The boys and girls were amazed at Miss Kelly’s fabulous dance moves during their ‘dance off’ competitions! We had lots of fun building and designing with construction and some of us even got our hands messy with Miss Anderson’s Art and Craft activities. We can’t wait for next week!
