What a busy assembly we had today!
First we had a visit from Mr Widd from the charity Muscular Dystrophy UK who shared with us facts about this condition and explained the important work the charity is involved in. The Charity Pupil Voice group contacted Mr Widd to invite him to our school as they have decided that this charity is one which they would like our school to support this year. They will keep us updated with their plans.
The primary 6 children also presented their political party manifestos to the school. They have worked very hard in class to create posters and speeches. A fantastic effort from everyone and it certainly was a hard decision to pick just one!
Not forgetting our certificate winners this week, well done to everyone. A special mention to two primary 5 pupils who received a highly commended certificate from the JRSO’s for creating a fantastic road safety slogan. Well done!
