I have now got more or less all the access I need for youtube. This is now allowing me to create playlists and add new videos. I will check how I can add modification of playlists to twitter so that you can see what I am adding, I will also try and find an RSS updater so you can view the pages from here as well.
Revise computing is gone 🙁 but Pass computing lives!
There are quizes and worksheets as well as revision materials. If you never got round to using the old site I STRONGLY suggest you give this one a shot.
We started off looking at WYSIWYG, Text editors, Presentation and Authoring software.
There was a lot to get through in one period but we managed to cover the multimedia development cycle (ADITDEM) before getting started on some practical.
The practical looked at a piece of wireframe software called Moqups and Icon based multimedia package Kodu.
Remember for this unit you will want to use the Scholar website after class to go back over the lesson, or you could use it before class so you can ask better question.
You will have noticed that I have started to post multimedia FAQs, these are pre planned posts and will activate over the next few weeks. This may mean you have to look back a page or two to catch posts you missed. Remember Twitter is your friend, if you follow @CHSPTICM twitter will notify you about all new posts.

Like I said in class virus can be classified and their delivery and payload can be categorised. However, the field of viruses is constantly evolving and has changed from a “Hobbyist” pursuit to a commercial enterprise.
We will finish this lesson next week.
OK so it wasn’t bad as a first attempt. Next time I will be adding pupils names to the sheets to make you all more accountable. A fair bit of copy and paste going on, this will not help your studying, as the chances are you didn’t even read what you pasted. Look at your notes and see if you cant summarise in the future.

Create a mnemonic to help you remember this. I heard a great one the other day for the parts of a processor in Int 2. “C U, Ah Luv U, Right” (Control Unit, Arithmetic and Logic Unit, Registers). Who can come up with the best for OS functions don’t be shy to post your answers, but keep it clean.
