Let us pray for the persecuted Church
O God, who in your providence
Will that the Church be united to the suffering of your Son,
Grant, we pray, to your faithful who suffer
For your name’s sake
A spirit of patience and charity,
That they may be found true and faithful witnesses
To the promises you have made.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ your son,
Who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit
One God, for ever and ever.
School Prayer
Lord, I thank you for bringing me to another day.
I live it completely for You,
Through you,
With You and in you. Amen

Thank you to the people who have so far donated to the Baby Bank Collection, this worthwhile cause will be our S2 RE focus for the month of March – please give generously.
Today let us pray for the Holy Father Pope Francis, who has especially asked for our prayers during this Year of Mercy.
O God, shepherd and ruler of all the faithful,
Look favourably on your servant Francis,
Whom you have set at the head of your church as her shepherd;
Grant, we pray, that by word and example
He may be of service to those over whom he presides
So that, together with the flock entrusted to his care,
He may come to everlasting life.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ your Son,
Who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit
One God, for ever and ever.

Mrs Callaghan and some very kind S2 girls are collecting money and baby goods to donate to this very important cause. This charity is run by volunteers and provides a vital service to families struggling to make ends meet. As you do your weekly shop this weekend perhaps you could buy and donate just one item to help ensure our North Lanarkshire babies get a good start in life.
Thank you in advance from S2 RE and Mrs Callaghan.
Creator of my Life, renew me: bring me to new life in you. Touch me and make me feel whole again. Help me to see your love in the passion, death and resurrection of your son. Help me to observe Lent in a way that allows me to celebrate that love. Prepare me for these weeks of Lent, help me do my best to fast every Friday. Help me during Lent as I feel both deep sorrow for my sins and your undying love for me.

The new Games Design Club is so popular that it was a full class on day one. A fabulous addition to our busy programme of extra-curricular activities. The pupils are pictured working together to come up with ideas for a new game.
THIS IS OUR FAITH is the title of the guidance which teachers in Catholic schools follow when planning and teaching programmes of Religious Education in Catholic schools in Scotland.
During this time of renewal, Lord, we know that you do not ask anything of us that you have not first given us. Each one of us have a place in your heart. You know us by name and seek us when we cannot see you. Sometimes we get caught up in this world on technology and materialism. Help us to be more focussed on helping one another. How beautiful this world would be if we put others’ needs before our own.
