Our very 1st Parent Council quiz night was a resounding success.
Parents, staff and former pupils met up in Holy Family Church hall for a 40th Anniversary fundraising event. We had a quiz, raffle ticket bingo, raffle prizes and a great deal of hilarity.
A big thank you to all involved – we raised £751.79.
Today our S1 were challenged to plan, design and build a floating garden. Each group had to produce a cost effective, sustainable way of growing the maximum amount of food. Many thanks to @AmdMcGinty for the superb prizes of family passes to the Glasgow Science Centre, the pupils were delighted! @gsc1 A massive thank you also goes to our STEM Ambassadors Carol, Emma & Peter for their contributions today, it was very much appreciated.
S1 STEM day awards….best design…..most innovative…..best individual performance.
With thanks to our Ambassadors Emma and Carol.
This years’ 2 day visit for our new S1 intake is on Tuesday May 9 and Wednesday May 10.
Pupils should come in their own school uniform and meet in the red social area before the bell, day one finishes at 3.15pm. Remember we have a welcome disco on Tuesday 6-8pm, and that Wednesday is PE all afternoon finishing at 3pm.
Lunch will be provided but send coins with your child if they intend to buy a snack at break too.
We have a full programme of activities planned by an experienced quiz master.
May 19 @ 7pm in Holy Family Church Hall. Tickets £3 per person.
Tickets can be purchased from the school office or members of the parent council.
Please also help out with donations for raffle prizes .
Don’t wait too long as there are a maximum of 110 tickets.
An exciting feature of this quiz are transfer windows, buying and selling of players and the buying of answers!
“Isn’t that cheating?”

A Huge thank you goes out to all our visitors and senior pupils’ involved in the CNHS@Work event where the whole S3 cohort got to speak to a whole range of employers, occupations, entrepreneurs and senior pupils balancing school work and part-time work.
